Reporting to the catering partner, you will be responsible for assisting with seasonal menu design, food preparation and production to service and portioned storage. Cleaning all catering areas and equipment post service, maintaining area hygiene and record keeping. designing and preparing new products for presentation to the catering partner for potential menu inclusion. The preparation of bills of faire to maintain product levels and meet the requirements for small functions (dinners/parties/wakes etc:). Monitoring stock levels and ensuring perishable items are maintained at "best" condition.
Aid the partners in achieving food quality awards, constantly looking to provide improvement in food and hospitality service delivery.
Ideally the candidate will have undergone training in basic catering skills and hold a recognised H&S certificate in food hygiene.
The right candidate will be a self starter able to work on their own initiative and during slack periods front of house duties and accommodation support duties including bar work and cleaning will be required.
On site accommodation would be available as part of the package for the right candidate.
