Brooksby Melton College has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join the team based in Brooksby. You will be on a full time permanent contract, working 37 hours per week, with a highly competitive salary of £32,829 per annum!

Brooksby Melton College is a specialist vocational Further and Higher Education provider in Leicestershire spread across two main campuses providing education to approximately 1500 students.  The College received a “Good” Ofsted judgement in November of 2016 and has a challenging strategy to grow and further improve over the next five years.  As part of this journey the college has invested in new facilities and improved environments for all our students and staff.

The Marketing Manager Role

We are looking for a successful Marketing Manager who wants a hands on position utilising creative flair and experience whilst representing the brand.  The successful candidate will have significant experience of operating at a senior marketing level, and will be able to inspire all areas of the college in the development of a customer led approach to marketing, using creativity to maximise student recruitment and use a wide range of activities and media channels to promote the College.

This is an incredibly exciting time to join the Marketing and Admissions department at the College as we continue to build on our strong reputation within the local community and promote the success of our students both regionally and nationally. The Marketing Manager  will be also be central to the promotion of the College redevelopments, assisting with expanding student numbers both at degree level and the 16-18 market, and enhancing the student experience from application stage to successful course completion and beyond.

Our Ideal Marketing Manager

Ideally we are looking for someone educated to degree level or equivalent with a certificate from CIM to become our Marketing Manager. Preferably you will have 3-4 years' marketing experience gained in an education environment, digital marketing experience focusing on social media would be a distinct advantage, and experience of Content Management Systems such as WordPress is essential.  The Marketing Manager will also be confident at developing and implementing the marketing strategy and leading and inspiring a small team of staff.
