Here at the Sun Inn, Barnes, we are looking for a hard working, ambitious Deputy Manager. Deputy Managers operate at the heart of the team and have a fundamental role to play in the success of any hospitality business - so we are looking for someone with passion and drive who can really make a difference.

Your key role will be deputising for the General Manager, taking decisions in their absence and leading the team to deliver an amazing experience to our guests.

Key to your personal success will be your ability to coach and develop the team - thus allowing more time for your own personal development and progression.

We are looking for someone with at least 18 months experience in a similar role whose knowledge and passion for everything that makes a good pub is infectious. You will be most at home and thrive being in the thick of the action front of house - touching tables with our guests and inspiring the team. Of course you will also play a key role in all aspects of the day to day running of the business.

The pub itself overlooks Barnes pond, despite its proximity to Hammersmith and the River Thames, you really feel like you could be out of London. With a florist and one of the last remaining old-fashioned bowls club on our doorstep the pub has endless charm. We are looking for an assistant who can help us establish the pub as the local favourite for any occasion amongst some strong competition. There is real scope to run some events and drive the way the pub is marketed locally - this is very much a project and as such will offer some exciting opportunities for those involved.
