Bookkeeper and office assistant
A full or part time position as an office assistant and bookkeeper for bespoke furniture makers and specialist joiners based in Holloway, North London.
Duties to include:
Answering telephone and dealing with email queries
Ordering workshop and office materials
Dealing with suppliers and clients
Check purchase orders and invoices and post onto accountancy system
Monitoring and recording staff timesheet and checking hours worked
Recording staff holidays and illness
Prepare and process payroll
Recording and checking health & safety requirements
General office duties.
Education and experience
Knowledge of bookkeeping practices and accounting principles
Good knowledge of Word and Excel
Confident telephone manner and strong written skills
Salary subject to experience.
