Mhor 84 Motel is an 11 bedroom, 1 self-catering cottage perfect pit-stop on the A84 12 miles outside Callander and an hour and 15 minutes from both Edinburgh and Glasgow city centre. Food is served all day from 8am to 9pm and ever changing menu features everything from hand dived west coast scallops, Skye langoustines, to a great burger and fresh, hearty mountain salad.

Mhor 84 welcomes everyone, whether you’re popping in coffee and cake, a light lunch or a celebratory meal. We pride ourselves on using the freshest, seasonal ingredients and on our warm welcome.

We are now looking to recruit for the following position:

Full-Time Head Chef

Working 5 days per week over 7 days 40 to 60 hours per week as required by the business.

Requirements:  Experienced Head Chef who is passionate and loves to create delicious fresh food from seasonal ingredients.  You should have an eye for detail and enjoy working to a high standard.   Experience within a similar role is essential.  Reporting to the Executive Chef your duties include: overseeing food ordering, food preparation, managing the team in Executive Chef’s absence, stock control, conforming with Health & Hygiene regulations, assist with training, motivating staff with other duties as required.  Live within travelling distance of the motel is preferred however live in accommodation is available.  Must be able to speak conversational English and eligible to work in the UK.

Competitive salary starting at approx 28K per annum, dependent on expeirnece

Chef De Partie x 2

Working 5 days per week over 7 days 40 to 60 hours per week as required by the business.

Requirements: Experienced enthusiastic Chef de Parties preferably with Pastry experience. You should be hard working, organised and confident in working on more than one section within the kitchen with a small team. Qualified in food preparation and cooking would be desirable.

Live within travelling distance of the motel preferable however live in option may be available.

For applicants with own transport must be able to travel to and from work at the required times of the job role.  Must be able to speak good English and eligible to work within the UK.
