Chop House Market Street currently recruiting for a Sous Chef. The ideal chef should have previous experiance in smiliar environment.
All applicants should have the following traits and skills to be considered for this role
· Have a passion for food, the right chef will be someone who enjoys food preparation and the cooking whilst being able to use imagination and flair.
· Possess a good business acumen, being efficient and cost effective with budgets, costings and gross profit margins
· have excellent "communication skills"
· Experience in junior management
· Strong leadership skills that can cope under stress
· Running the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
· Detail specific, exceptionally high standards
· Ability to make quick decisions
· Knowledge and adherence to all Governmental and Local Authority food legislative practices
· Effective team management by multi tasking and delegation
· Undertake training for the commis/chef de parties
