We house up to 41 residents in a home from home setting. We are a residential care home catering for mild to moderate health needs including Dementia, Parkinson's etc.
We are a close knit team searching for individuals to join us.
Our home is open 24/7 so we expect our staff to be available for shifts anytime in a 24hr period including wake night shifts (10pm-8am)

What do we need from you?
You need to be punctual and reliable. You will need to be focused and ready for a new challenge every day. Experience is not essential but preferred. You need to be patient and compassionate to the residents. You will be expected to attend training sessions and team meetings when they arise. You need to be flexible as hours can occasionally fluctuate to meet the needs of the home.
Your job role (care assistant)
Daily personal care for residents who require assistance. This includes washing, drying, applying creams, changing of incontinence pads, assistance with dressing, hair care, bathing etc.
Filling out care plans. This is a log of what you did with each resident completed daily.
Toileting. You will be required to assist residents to use the toilet. Some need more assistance than others.
Medication. After 8 weeks with the company and once trained you will be required to administer medication to residents daily.
Dinner. You will be required to help hand out dinner to the residents, clear away and assist any residents if they require help.
You will require 2 references to be considered for employment. One will need to be your last employer, the other can be a character reference.
Prior to employment you will be subject to a DBS check, this is paid for by the company. Any offer of employment will be subject to satisfactory references and DBS check.
