The successful team behind Mughli Charcoal Pit & Bar and Evelyn’s Café Bar (part of the Zanna Group) are soon to open BrothersNQ in Manchester’s vibrant Northern Quarter. Inspired by Izakayas of Japan and specialising in Yakitori (skewered grilled chicken) BrothersNQ offers a simple, yet creative menu of small plates, speciality beers and spirits and an easy chilled out vibe to relax and experience casual dining at it’s very best.
We are looking for a talented and dedicated Sous Chef to join our opening team. You will receive full training on the Izakayas style of cuisine along with excellent on going support and development.
The Ideal Candidate
You will have previous experience of working as a Sous Chef in a fast paced environment. You will share our passion for serving high quality dishes, using only the best ingredients. We actively encourage individuality and flair and are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Sous Chef who is wiling to share ideas, contribute to menu development and take a proactive approach to all areas of kitchen management.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential along with the ability maintain GPs and control costs whilst ensuring quality and consistency are maintained.
