Genesis Housing has a fantastic opportunity for a Project Worker to join our team providing floating support in Colchester, Chelmsford and Brentwood.

Genesis Care & Support is a prominent housing related support provider in the Older People Sheltered services in the Essex area. We have recently undergone an ambitious change programme in our services. The aim of the new service is to ensure that our sheltered Older People customers achieve their own goals and aspirations through the support and encouragement of our staff.

In various locations, our Project Workers are responsible for delivering excellent outcomes focused support for our customers with varying needs and requirements. They are also responsible for delivering an excellent housing management service.

The primary focus of our services is to support our sheltered Older People customers in a range of areas including improving independent life skills and building stability in their life.

Although previous supported housing experience would be suitable for this role, we are also looking for inspirational individuals who will seize the potential of making a difference in people's lives. We want to find motivational individual's that have a genuine interest working with vulnerable people and delivering a person-centred service.

The annual salary for this Project Worker role is £17,137 pro rata and, subject to the successful completion of a probation period and individual performance in the role, will increase to £18,500.

This post is being offered as a 6 month fixed term contract.
