VAC-14274 - Sous Chef - Modern French Fine Dining Brasserie - Up to £38,000

We are looking for a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join a one of London's best Modern French Restaurants.

As Sous Chef, you will be joining an independent establishment who will invest in your development as much as they are looking forward in the development of the business - with great opportunities to progress.

The Sous Chef will be responsible for the kitchen in the head chef's absence and the sous chef will be involved heavily in the training and development in junior kitchen staff.

As Sous Chef you will benefit from working with a calm and collected head chef who enjoys the development of his junior staff.

You will be expected to;

  • Help improve day-to-day smooth running of the kitchen, working with the Head Chef
  • Train junior kitchen staff
  • Keep the kitchen within Food and Hygiene Regulations
  • Manage kitchen in Head Chef's absence
  • Dish development with the Head Chef
  • Help maintain GPs and run an efficient kitchen
  • Work 7 shifts per week
