Paramount Personnel are recruiting a Reception Manager for a luxury hotel in Cornwall.
The Reception Manager will be responsible, in conjunction with the Front of House Manager, for ensuring that exceptional customer service is consistently provided to hotel guests. You’ll supervise the reception team to ensure that regular, return and VIP guests are recognised and their expectations exceeded where possible, leading the team in order to deliver a genuine customer service journey to all hotel guests.
You will support the Front of House Manager with operational activities such as recruitment, training & development of new and current team members, performance reviews and designing rotas. You’ll understand the importance of efficiently maintaining accounting aspects, taking responsibility for; banking, third party payment, sales ledgers & guest bills.
As the Reception Manager, you’ll act as a first point of call, dealing with any guest complaints or queries in a quick and effective manner. You will encourage the achievement of set targets and goals, providing support where necessary to the reception team.
- Be organised and motivated with the ability to lead the team in the absence of the manager.
- Possess exceptional customer service skills with the ability to develop key relationships with all guests.
- Be a strong communicator who can establish strong working relationships with all hotel departments.
- Have experience of working in a similar style property, which is essential to this role, as is an operating knowledge of a Property Management System such as Fidelio/Opera/Protel/Guestline.
