Gin 71 and Cup Tea Lounge group are seeking a talented and dedicated Sous Chef to join the team in Edinburgh. Salary of 25K for Sous and £21k for CDP as long as they are the the right candidates.

Gin71 is a multi award winning bar and restaurant and operates in the evenings, while Cup Tea Lounge is our daytime operation and offers an exceptional afternoon tea and lunch/brunch to our diners.

The position will require operating both our afternoon tea and lunch offerings during daytimes and our Gin71 botanically inspired menu in the evening, which we would like to develop into casual fine dining.

We are looking for a passionate chef who can help us elevate our food offering and operations to new levels. You will be responsible for heading up and developing a team in our Edinburgh Venue. Must have a desire to produce exceptional food and a track record in developing menus , recipes and dishes delivering the highest quality food. Exceptional presentation and organisational skills are a must and evidence of building teams, hiring , developing and training also advantageous.

Our Chefs only ever work 5 day weeks, and we encourage as many shorter shifts as possible. A full tip splitting culture is in operation also.
