Stock Control/Delivery Driver– Fluent Spanish
My client is an award-winning importer and distributor of authentic and traditional Spanish Food, their portfolio includes more than 250 unique products, from 50 different suppliers that have been carefully selected in person.
Due to continued growth and expansion they are now looking for a fluent Spanish speaker to join the Stock Control team for a 1 year contract. Candidates will be a good negotiator, independent and good at problem solving as you will have direct contact with customers.
What we are looking for:
Fluent Spanish Choose and revise suppliers that the company deals with based on quality, offer and cost Maintain detailed inventory of all incoming, outgoing supplies Keep track of inventory and supplies that need restocking Plan purchase orders for incoming supplies Ensure supplied stock meet demand Prevent overstocking and ordering Ensure that any invoices are sent to accounts for payment Track the status of any orders Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data The successful candidate will also be removing inventory from incoming shipments, reviewing deliveries against orders. You will also need to manage under orders, over orders, damaged goods and missing items.
As part of this position the Stock Controller will also:
Prepare and package goods for deliveries and shipping according to customer's orders Ensure correct inventory is loaded into the van for delivery to customers Make sure that the goods are loaded securely and will not move or get damaged in transit 1-2 days deliveries around Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire Drive and unload the van and carry the goods into the customer’s premises or home Getting POD (point of delivery) signatures and perhaps taking payment or orders Candidates will have excellent customer service skills, a valid driving licence, a genuine interest in food and Spain and be at ease speaking to customers and suppliers about their needs.
In return a competitive basic is on offer depending on experience, hours are 35 hours a week Monday to Friday.
