Call Centre Agent / Community Manager
We are looking for a full-time/permanent candidate to work afternoons from our offices in Hackney, E5 and evening/night shifts from home or from our office.
This is a phone based role whereby you will be responsible for registering patients and dealing with patient enquiries in UK and the US. You must be fluent in written and spoken English. If you speak any other languages this is a bonus but is not required.
The majority of this role will involve contacting patients by phone who have enquired about a market research project to tell them about the company, register them on the system and (if applicable) conduct a project eligibility questionnaire. Your success will be judged on the number of calls you make and how many of these people you successfully invite to the related project.
TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE
Confident and eloquent, we require someone who can communicate effectively and sensitively with Patients and ‘sell’ the company to them. A self-starter who embraces challenges and loves speaking to people on the phone. This role would be perfect for a candidate with a call centre / sales / account management background that wants to join a young and vibrant company.
We are a health research community, based in Hackney, London E5, where Patients can get involved in research to get their opinions heard and raise money for themselves and the health charities that matter most to them. We conduct paid online, telephone and face to face market research with Patients and Physicians. Typical survey fees range from £50 for 30 mins (and everyone donates at least 10% to one of our registered health charities). For more information about us please see www.liberatingresearch.com
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, working 8 hours per day (3 or 4 hours per afternoon from our offices in Hackney, E5 and 4 or 5 hours per evening from home or from our offices, as you prefer). The afternoon shift is either 2pm-6pm or 3pm-6pm, the evening shift starts at either 8pm, 9pm or 10pm. These shift patterns will likely change slightly following an initial probation period once an assessment is done as to the most effective calling times (this will be agreed between both parties before any changes are made). For the first two weeks during training you will be required to work normal office hours of 10am – 7pm (with a 1 hour lunch break).
£24k per annum
If you are interested in applying then please provide your CV as well as any additional information about any telephone based roles you have held in the past or any other relevant experience. Please also confirm that you are able to commute to our offices in Hackney, E5 and that you are available to work afternoons and evenings/nights on Mondays to Fridays (or if there are times you are unavailable to work please specify your availability).
