The Company:

A highly successful furniture company with multiple years of increasing year on year sales growth, requiring a Sales Manager to continue to drive incremental sales growth. After training the candidate, who will be based out of the Dorset head office, will be expected to spend circa two days per week visiting prospective and existing clients, with the balance of the time spent back in the office, developing leads and managing existing clients.

The Role:

As a Sales Manager, you will represent the company, nurturing existing relationships while proactively sourcing new business with cafes, restaurants, clubs, cinemas, hotels, shopping centres, arenas, corporate headquarters as well as residential sales.

You will work with other members of the sales team in developing leads, marketing strategies and will visit clients including, architects, designers, project managers and individuals showcasing the portfolio of furniture the company can offer.

One of the critical aspects of the role is the provision of build estimates to clients thus requiring attention to detail and a strong grasp of the build process. Building the quotation will enable a Sales Manager to project manage the job from initial enquiry to post installation follow through. As a Sales Manager, you will be building long term relationships with the client's key decision makers, representing yourself and the company in a highly professionalmanner.

The Candidate:

To be a successful Sales Manager you must have a proven Field Sales track record. Ideally you will have experience within the furniture industry with extensive contacts in the business but this is not mandatory. You must be a driven, self-motivated individual, with enthusiasm and a strong desire to exceed expectations. The ability to meet sales targets, drive profitable business and develop business relationships are key attributes.
