Homecare Worker - Full time (Chiswick and Ealing)
We’re looking for caring and compassionate people to join our OUTSTANDING team of care workers (CQC-rated November 2016). If you’re right for us, then you’ll want to provide a personalised service, take great pride in your work, have a genuine desire to empower our elderly clients to continue living independently at home, and be seeking flexible working hours including weekend work.
You will have the opportunity to enhance the lives of our elderly clients, engage with them on a one-to-one basis and build meaningful and long-lasting relationships with them. Visits range from 30-minutes (minimum) to longer day shifts and overnight shifts. Duties include personal care, meal support and administering medication. Our rota coordinator schedules sensible and realistic shift runs that give you time to travel between clients and keep you in the same geographic area.
All new staff are required to complete the Care Certificate within the first 12 weeks of employment. You will not work unsupervised until you have the skills and competence. All training is provided and paid. Support from the management team is on-going.
Care workers report to a small team of care managers who each have a caseload of clients. Managers regularly pop in to see clients and care workers, and respond quickly to any issues and concerns. We liaise with our clients, their families and relevant community services to provide a holistic service. We pride ourselves on our high standards and consistent service.
