Exciting opportunity for Sous Chef at the 'all new' Beehive Pub & Dining, Horfield, Bristol
The Beehive at 112 Wellington Hill, Horfield is one of Bristol's great public houses, with a fantastic tradition of friendly hospitality, great food and a real community spirit. The pub is currently undergoing a really extensive refurbishment and will be re-opening towards the end of February with a completely new look and feel.
There is an exciting opportunity for the right person to become a key member of the new team in the role of Sous Chef. We are looking for someone who has at least 3 years experience of working in a busy kitchen environment to support our Chef in delivering top quality food to a discerning customer base.
You will have the ability to stand in for the Chef in her absence, and assist and support in all aspects of the work of the kitchen and be able to work under pressure in a team environment. Knowledge of stock control, rotation and ordering of locally sourced fresh ingredients is essential.
You will have the opportunity to fully contribute to the development of a high quality and seasonally changing menu offering and will be expected to have experience of costing new dishes to ensure correct pricing is applied.
