On behalf of our client Risk Managment Security, we are currently seeking a full-time Control Room Operatives.
We are currently looking to expand the security team within our 24-hour Control Room, based in High Wycombe. This is a key role acting as the central contact point for employees & customers across our portfolios and will involve monitoring alarms, CCTV systems, vehicle tracking, call handling, dispatch of mobile resources and a range of administrative functions.
This role requires an individual with excellent communication and computer literacy skills as well as the ability to work under pressure and in a high paced environment. Ideally, applicants will have experience working within a security control room, a dispatch centre or within a call centre environment but applications will also be considered from individuals that can demonstrate, through their employment history, key skills such as multi-tasking, decision making, leading, learning new skills and problem solving.
You will work on a roster, covering days, nights and weekends with a close knit and experienced team to ensure that our operations run smoothly. You should enjoy variety, like a fast-paced environment, be flexible and able to deliver excellent customer service over the phone.
Due to the nature of the role, you will need to hold a valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence and be willing to undergo security screening to BS 7858. If you are interested in applying for this role then please submit a fully up to date CV, ensuring that it covers the last five years.
The ideal candidate should have:
• Prior experience working in a security role or environment
• A valid SIA licence (Security Guarding, Door Supervision or Close Protection)
• Unrestricted right to work on a full time basis within the UK
• Strong organisational and IT skills
• Be self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
