Lizzie 10, is an intelligent, capable and creative young lady who has a love for singing and arts and crafts. Lizzie has ASD and requires support with her emotions, behaviour and self-help skills. Lizzie loves animals and has two friendly cats! Her younger brother Sam is 8, he too is extremely bright and loves to have friends over for a play date!
The role will involve building a caring relationship with the children, assisting before and after school, light housework / nursery duties, cooking, planning activities and running errands for the family while the children are at school. Mum is very hands-on with both Lizzie and Sam; she requires an SEN Nanny / Manny who has the ability to work alongside and support her. Lizzie is currently supported by two Snap candidates including a behavioural therapist.
This exciting position will suit a confident, caring and kind SEN Nanny / Manny who can multi-task and ‘pitch in’ as and when needed. You will have the ability to build and maintain a strong and trusting relationship with Lizzie with the ability to remain calm and quickly bounce back after difficult situations – imagination and a good sense of humour essential!
A challenging but extremely rewarding role, with the right support Lizzie has the ability to achieve and reach her full potential. Please speak with Jade at Snap, who has lots more information.
