ENA Care Group provide live in care to adults with a variety of disabilities in their own home enabling them to remain independent.  We are a direct employer and service provider, meaning we complete the whole process of business development with clients as well as a full recruitment process with the applicants. We provide training for all carers regardless of whether they have had care experience in the past and from a variety of ethnic backgrounds, and from many countries worldwide.

Due to business growth we are looking for a Health and Social Care Trainer to be based in our Welwyn Garden City office. In this role you will train, induct, manage and deliver the ongoing training of all care and office staff in accordance with our standards, policies and procedures, CQC requirements, relevant regulations and legislation and in line with accepted best practices. In addition you will:

  • Develop and maintain effective training and induction programmes for all care and office staff including manual handling, equipment and medication training
  • Coordinate training programmes and schedules
  • Create training reports, conduct reviews and auditing staff files for CQC compliance
  • Be responsible for the up-keep and servicing requirements of our equipment
  • Participate in the development of our training policies
  • Share in the development of strategic plans for the Group’s training programme
  • Participate in evaluation of the Group’s training and development needs against agreed organisational goals, business, and quality objectives
  • Work to establish effective employer-employee relationships and create and uphold an open, positive and inclusive management culture
  • Advise Senior Management of any changes to the training we provide which may be required to meet legislative requirements.

 

Essential Requirements

  • Experience or relevant qualifications in Health and Safety 
  • PTLLS qualification
  • Clean manual driving license

Desirable

  • Experience in training within the care industry 
  • Up-to-date knowledge of all legislative and regulatory industry standards

  • £23 - £26k per annum
