Hamilton's bar and kitchen in Stockbridge is seeking a strong commis or CDP for a busy and successful kitchen

The company has been finalist and winner a number of awards including Scottish Style Awards, SLTN, Hotel and Caterer award for best group employer in Scotland and recently has appeared in 'Scotland the Best' and 'Relish' - a cookbook showcasing many Scottish talents including Tom Kitchin, Mark Greenaway and Andrew Fairlie.
Hamilton's is a busy and energetic kitchen and was voted best bar and restaurant at the latest Scottish Food Awards 2017. The menu changes with the food seasons and all dishes are prepared in house using local and respected suppliers. Award winning Head Chef, MacKenzie Barker is much respected in the city and the menu pairs fine dining with approachable gastro style. Beautiful presentation is key and a knowledge of pairing ingredients to make modern and original dishes
Applicants should have an excellent command of english, have an energetic personality, have experience leading a team, menu creation and design, successful stock control and have a creative flair and knowledge of seasonal ingredients
