New opportunity not to be missed. NFER is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Senior Survey Support Officer to join the team based in Slough. Joining us on a full time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £21,979 - £24,736 per annum; depending upon qualifications and experience.

NFER is an independent research organisation which undertakes projects in all sectors of education. We are committed to the continued improvement of education and training for all learners. We have been at the forefront of educational research for over 60 years, our research contributes to government policy, and our expertise is recognised nationally and internationally. NFER undertakes survey research and test development projects, working mainly with schools and other educational professionals. 

We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Survey Support Officer to join our friendly, hard-working and successful Research and Product Operations team to help make a positive difference in education. 

The role Senior Survey Support Officer entails:

- Supporting large scale projects with pack and dispatch and checking research, data and assessment materials

- Logging and checking materials and data

- Taking a lead role in specific projects and supervising staff

- Supporting marking events management and attending off-site events 

- Telephoning to gather information from schools and individuals

The Senior Survey Support Officer role requires attention to detail, team work, an ability to supervise work and plan and stick to tight timescales.

Applicants must be physically fit as the role involves packing and unpacking large numbers of parcels.

We have a pleasant office environment and beautiful surroundings, 30 days paid leave per year, over and above Bank holidays and additional discretionary days, good support for staff development and generous pension arrangements.
