We are currently working in partnership with a leading and well know charity in the Bournemouth area who are seeking a procurement and contract manager to join their team on a full time basis.

This is a stand-alone role working within the governance team. The successful candidate will be the main point of contact for all procurement and contract management activity across the organisation.

The organisation faces growing pressures on income and the needs to concentrate on looking at costs and how to better reduce these, constantly keeping value in mind without compromising the quality of the services they offer is paramount.

A background in Procurement is essential and experience working within a charity is highly desired but not essential.

You will be expected to and be responsible for:
*All procurement, coursing and contract management advice across the entire organisation
*Lead an deliver spend analysis and development of service delivery plans
*Take ownership of the entire procurement cycle and lead in the development of sourcing plans.
*Identify the annual procurement strategy and plans to deliver targeted savings
*Manage forward planning and other activities to avoid issues in resourcing
*Deliver and present sourcing plans
*Act as a role model and promote the charity's visions and beliefs positively, representing at all times
*Constantly have the customer in mind at the heart of all that is being done
*Work closely with internal stakeholders to oversee and ensure contractual agreements with suppliers deliver both in service, performance and cost

*Competitive salary from £36,000 - £39,000 dependant on salary

*Working hours: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
