Female Support Worker

At Active Assistance you will be a Personal Assistant which is what sets us aside from other care companies. You will be working with one client who you will get to know and develop a good working relationship with. With us you can put your caring nature into practice. You can spend time with the client, enabling them to live fulfilling and independent lives.
Female Support Worker required in Penzance
We are currently looking for a female support worker to work with our client who has an acquired brain injury. Our client lives alone in her own home so is very independent. She does however require some support with daily activities due to her brain injury. She is a wheelchair user and therefore needs some assistance with her mobility. In addition, the role will also involve some assistance with her personal care. Her speech is slurred and she can be difficult to understand so you will need to be patient with good communication skills. Our client will need you to drive her vehicle so she can go out and access the community so you must hold a full driving licence.
Hours and Pay
•24 hour shifts
•You will need to be flexible to work across the week
•£8.50 per hour (7am-11pm)
•£50 sleeping night rate (11pm-7am)
