Days & Hours: Thursdays and Fridays 9.00 am – 5.00 pm
Richard, 3, is a sociable, happy and fun little chap who loves music, singing and dancing! He enjoys playing outside, either at the playground or riding his bike, and on wet weather days can spend hours with Lego and PlayDoh. Richard is severely speech delayed and has sensory processing disorder.
We are looking for a temporary SEN Nanny experienced in speech delay and how to help a young child who wants to communicate, but cannot always find the words. You will attend nursery with Richard on Thursdays and Fridays from 9.00am – 3pm and then look after him at home until 5.00 pm. Richard is about to start potty training, so he will need support with this. There is no cooking involved in the role, although you may occasionally be required to prepare snacks.
This job will suit a patient, kind and fun SEN Nanny who is able to help Richard follow his daily schedule in nursery, to play and interact with him and help him focus if he experiences any emotional outbursts. Potty training experience is highly desirable as are EYFS or SEN qualifications.
