Switchee is a connected homes / IoT start up founded 3 years ago. We are rolling out the first ever smart thermostat designed for landlords and are scaling up our team to meet significant customer demand. We have a highly capable, academically accomplished and driven R&D and commercial team comprising 12 people.

 

At the core of our proposition is data, collected through a hardware device we have built in-house, which we use to deliver savings to both residents and landlords. Our first market is UK social housing where we have a social mission to combat fuel poverty. As well as reducing energy bills, we help landlords cut maintenance costs by helping to detect issues such as boiler faults and damp or condensation.

 

THE JOB

 

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented recent graduate or office administrator with experience looking for a wide-ranging role in a rapidly expanding technology company. You will take responsibility for all day to day management and office administration as well as recruitment of new staff. We are a small but fast growth company and you will be responsible for improving and professionalising our hiring process.

 

Main tasks and responsibilities include:

 

Managing our recruitment process to help us find talented people and give them a great on-boarding experience
Office administration including booking meeting, travel and accommodation and stationary
Assistance with sales and marketing activities such as preparing proposals & booking or attending trade shows
Answering the switchboard phone in a professional manner
Assisting with telephone customer support

YOU MUST HAVE:

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
An eye for detail and the big picture
Ability to work on your own and as a part of the team

Bonus skills:

Recruitment experience

Experience in start-ups and technology is desirable
