Seeking an outgoing and relationship driven proactive Advertising sales Assistant
This is a target driven sales role requiring good organisation, creative thinking and positive attitude, specifically focused to exceed targets.
As Advertising Sales Assistant, you will maximise on all new business as well as maintaining the growth of the existing business. You will build and develop relationships within our clients.
The Advertising Sales Assistant role is ideal for an existing reactive or proactive sales person from an advertising who wants to further their career within sales. You will be driven to succeed, have a bubbly and outgoing nature and overall be confident.
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and hungry Advertising Sales Assistant who is keen to further their career within the advertising media space. You will develop new leads and clients within the massage/spa market.
The responsibilities of the Advertising Sales Assistant are:
Make a number of outgoing calls to generate new leads
Increase new clients through Networking
Able to diarise and call back potential prospects
Keen to learn about the sector
Initially to plan and execute lead generation and sales activity via the telephone. Over time, the role will develop to cover a mixture of telephone and field – based activity
To achieve or exceed revenue targets for existing customers
To generate new business to achieve or exceed revenue targets
To ensure all lead generation and sales activity is accurately and fully logged on the sales system
To ensure client copy and advertisements are accurate and delivered to published deadlines
To ensure all activity conforms with company process and procedures
To effectively build and manage client relationships, acting as the interface between them and the company
The skills required for the Advertising Sales Assistant are as follows:
Educated to A – level or degree
Demonstrated ability to convert enquiries into sales
General knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
Experience with Salesforce and/or other customer relationship management
Able to perform basic math and calculations
Proficient working with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Enthusiastic communicator that is confident speaking with all types of people
Ability to relationship-build
Willing to learn and take direction
Excellent listening skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with ability to act independently and responsibly
Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills
Capacity to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Hungry to earn commission and also progress your career within Advertising Sales
Strong interest in a future Ad Sales or Ad Sales Marketing role

A minimum of 2-year experience in media sales in a target - driven sales environment, with targets being regularly exceeded. A good telephone manner. Strong planning and organisation skills with excellent keyboard skills and the ability to learn new system quickly. Strong attention to detail with the ability to generate creative ideas and use these to create effective solutions for your clients. Good written English and the ability to think quickly
