CHEFS & FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF
CHEF/COOK: You must have had previous catering experience and able to demonstrate knowledge, speed of delivery and the ability to follow instruction. Our menu is based on a home cooked food in a bistro style offering. We also have a regular changing specials board that you will be responsible for creating. The kitchen is a fair size for what it delivers and is well kitted out. Staff levels vary between working alone, when quiet and working with one other when busier. You will be responsible for delivering consistent food prepared to the correct specification, kitchen cleanliness and customer service, therefore you should be capable of working independantly and with other staff, also be self motivated and to meet the high expectation to maintain kitchen hygiene, service and organisation. The salary will be Depending on experience, 6 days a week, 45+ hours.
FRONT OF HOUSE: We have a friendly client base that return regulary, so good social skills are essential whilst also being aware of tasks that need to be completed to ensure the customer has the best dining experience. As well as serving food and drink to our restaraunt customers you will also have other responsibilities along with organising younger staff, deligating jobs, stock rotation, opening and closing up. The salary will be £8 with a 50p bonus scheme, 6 days a week, 40+ hours.
Tips are shared weekly and on average work out at £1-£1.50 an hour.
OTHER INFORMATION The job comes with a shared accomondation with 3 double bedrooms and all mod-cons, this is a very modern and lovely accomondation and will make you feel very comfortable and at home, this would be a deduction of £40 per person per week. A car would be essential. THE CONTRACT WILL RUN FROM 17 MARCH 2018 - 13 OCTOBER 2018 AND ALL HOLIDAY PAY AND BONUSES WILL BE PAID ON COMPLETION.
