Electrician

The responsibilities & requirements of the successful electrician(s) will include:

Responsibilities:

    Follow and understanding of design drawings and associated schematics Execute the plans to achieve accomplished and functioning electrical systems Installing electrical apparatus, fixed equipment and components. Knowledge of current lighting arrangements and control systems. Problem solving in detailed electrical systems. Prevent breakdown of electrical systems with routine inspections during PPM arrangements. Be able to work confidently as an individual or as part of a team in a fast paced environment. Follow instructions in a timely manner when provided by senior staff. Adhere to all company H&S arrangements. Be courteous, presentable and polite at all times.
Requirements:

    Fully completed City & Guilds apprenticeship  Conversant in BS7671:2008+A3 Full clean UK driving licence Preferable C&G 2391 or equivalent although not essential 
 

Electrical Labourer

The responsibilities & requirements of the successful electrical labour will include:

Responsibilities:

    Following the lead of site electricians to achieve accomplished and functioning electrical systems Aiding in the installation of electrical apparatus, fixed equipment and components. Be able to work confidently as an individual or as part of a team in a fast paced environment. Follow instructions in a timely manner when provided by senior staff. Adhere to all company H&S arrangements. Be courteous, presentable and polite at all times.
Requirements:

    3+ years experience in the electrical installation industry Full clean UK driving licence
 

Electrical Manager

The responsibilities & requirements of the successful electrical manager will include:

Responsibilities: 

  • Acceptance of initial enquiry from client.
  • Pricing of project as per tender documents / including revisions & addendums.
  • Requests for information to allow a comprehensive & competitive tender.
  • Furnish client with tender within agreed timeframe.
  • Follow up correspondence to ascertain tender outcomes.
  • Negotiating, accepting & securing projects post tender.
  • Producing RAMs for all projects.
  • Negotiating & ordering of all materials in good time to allow site work continuity.
  • Providing on site staff with appropriate & relevant information to allow site work continuity.
  • Sourcing & financial negotiations with prospective staff for imminent projects.
  • Attend site meetings if required.
  • Ensure time frames for handover (partial or full) are met and adhered to.
  • Ensure pre-start budget plans are implemented and enforced.
  • Oversee electrical testing & provision of all final electrical certification.
  • Production & provision of all O&M documents.
  • Engage in implementation of site control measures such as time sheets & time management structures if and when required.
  • Participate in weekly / monthly meetings with a view to business growth and expansion.

Requirements:

This role is best suited to a candidate who has served time as an electrician followed by an office based environment role where experience in estimating and project management was gained.

  • Level 4 or above in engineering such as HNC Building Services or equivalent.
  • Conversant in BS7671- IEE Wiring Regulations
  • Conversant in BS5266 - Emergency Lighting
  • Conversant in BS5839 - Fire Alarms
  • Full UK driving licence
