Responsible for general maintenance and repair of all electrical equipment throughout the Store & Warehouse and any portable appliance testing that is required.
Ensure all power supplies are in good working order and that all lighting is maintained to the appropriate standard.
Responsible for any new installations throughout the Store including tills, any new shopfits, power & lighting.
Maintain and repair all portable equipment in all areas.
Responsible for the up keep and maintenance of all electrical equipment including escalators and lifts and catering equipment.
Responsible for the upkeep of all air conditioning units.
Responsible for maintenance and testing of the fire alarms.
Ensure all paperwork and record keeping is kept up to date.
Maintain up to date knowledge of all electrical services and materials.
Calculate costs and quantities of materials to be used and communicates these costs to the Maintenance Manager.
Liaise with the Maintenance Manager to ensure materials are ordered and levels maintained.
