Head Chef - The Cheese Bar - Camden - £32k - £38k - British Cheese Specialist
We’re on the hunt for a passionate and experienced head chef to join our small team at The Cheese Bar - Camden.
We started out three years ago as The Cheese Truck, selling London’s best grilled cheese sandwiches in our little yellow 1970’s ice cream vans named Alfie and Audrey. We’ve grown fast and now sell at over thirty of the UK’s biggest music festivals as well as taking part in events in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Istanbul.
The Cheese Bar is our first step in to bricks and mortar! We opened in March 2017 in the heart of Camden stables market. Our food offering promotes the best British cheesemakers, with a full cheese focused menu. Not just our much loved grilled cheese sandwiches but a seasonal menu of cheese based dishes using the best British produce throughout.
We’re looking for a chef with a real passion for the job they do, an eye for detail and the willingness to progress. At least two years restaurant experience is required in a similar company, as well as a good understanding of the importance of due diligence, kitchen hygiene and health and safety with a minimum food hygiene level two certificate.
You'll be working amongst a small creative and passionate team. Working with the best produce possible and cooking wholesome and delicious dishes. We believe we're the best in London at what we do and have some glowing reviews to prove it.
