Due to an increase in workload our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to work as part of their Finance team.
This is initially a 6 month Fixed Term Contract but may be extended or go permanent.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Processing and Banking Cheques and Bank Receipts.
Send Business to Consumer Customer Statements.
Administer Credit Card Payments.
Collating and sending Weekly and Monthly Sales Ledger Billing.
Dealing with Customer queries.
Small Works Invoicing and Credit Notes.
Credit Control for Business to Consumer Customers.
Provide Support for Direct Debit Administrator and Purchase Ledger Clerk.
You will need:
Previous experience in an accounts role.
Computer skills including MS Excel.
Experience of MS Navision would be an advantage.
Working towards professional accounts qualification useful but not essential.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Able to multitask and work to deadlines.
Based in New Milton, working Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. with pro rata salary of £18,000 plus free parking available.
