Female Care Assistant

If so, Active Assistance may have the role for you. We are currently recruiting a female complex care assistant to work with our client in Cheltenham. Our client lives in her own home with her family. She requires 24/7 support from a dedicated team of care assistants to enable her to live a fulfilling and independent life. At Active Assistance your job title will be 'Personal Assistant' which is what sets us aside from other care companies. You will work with one client, providing tailored support which means you will get to know her and her needs very well.
Female Complex Care Assistant required in Cheltenham
We are recruiting a female complex care assistant to join our current team. The team work on a rota to provide around the clock care to our client. Our client is in her early 40's and was involved in a car accident some years ago. As a result she is non-verbal although she is still very alert and understands everything. She is fed via PEG and has equipment to monitor her Oxygen levels. You will use hoists to transfer her from her wheelchair. Our client has a great sense of humour and loves music. She has a very supportive family network including children and you will need to be respectful of this environment.
- Part-time, 12 hours plus per week
- Daytime shifts: 8am-8pm, 8am-11am and 2pm-10pm
- Night shifts: 10pm - 8am (waking and sleep nights)
- £9 per hour (days), £9.50 per hour (waking nights), £50 for sleeping night
