Job Title: Service Engineer (Field Service Engineer)
Location: London
Salary: 20k - 35k (Depending on experience)

The Service Engineer role requires a highly motivated individual who can work under their own initiative. They will be experienced in all external façade works and able to develop their own solutions in their approach whilst maintaining the Group's professional image.
The SE will provide an interface between the client and the company and will therefore operate at a highly professional level. The contract works must meet the target outcome.


To ensure that assigned works are delivered to target schedule and to specification. They should ensure that any financial loss or loss of reputation for the business is limited through careful handling and maintaining security of the product.
They should ensure that any issues encountered or brought to their attention are dealt with professionally and resolved either by themselves or escalated to the After Sales Co-ordinator.
The Site Engineer will remain highly motivated, working with initiative and solving day-to-day issues as they arise. They should be highly adaptable and flexible and be able to provide a clear communication link between all parts of the business. The SE is required to work times that fit in with both residential customers and also any site requirements and they must be thoroughly professional and reliable throughout.
The SE should adhere at all times to the standards of Health and Safety that are required. They should ensure that all works meet the required company standards of quality installation at all times.

Essential Experience

•Proven track record of performance delivery
•Proven ability in managing assigned workloads competently using high levels of planning and organisation
§Proven ability in problem solving in situ
§Proven ability in working with both commercial and residential customers; ensuring that their needs are met
§Ability to manage specific works and able to interpret drawings or data presented to them
§Previous experience within the window/façade industry

More specifically the Service Engineer role entails:

§Work with the After Sales Co-ordinator (ASC) and Contracts Director to develop and articulate the business strategy and identify the scope of works.
§Keep Daily Diary of Works carried out on site.
§Liaise with ASC to plan materials logistics
§Contact customers directly to arrange appointments
§Assist in surveillance checks and reports.
§Liaise with After Sales Co-ordinator to identify plant requirements.
§Fully understand the problems that may be encountered with the works to eliminate these risks
§Ensure that the quality of the work undertaken is in line with the Company standard
§Ensure that losses to the Company are limited through careful handling and security of the product.
•Offer works to MC to check at completion
•Issue Q.A. sheet getting signatures from MC
•Make sure installations are being constructed as per manufacturer's recommendations
•Adhere at all times to the standards of Health and Safety that are required
§To assist in other areas as and when necessary

Candidates must have a full UK driving licence.
