Job title:                                 Automated Assembly Technician

Principal Role:                       To assemble products and operate Surface Mount equipment in accordance with our customer’s procedures and quality standards.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Undertaking assembly tasks as directed by the Automated Assembly Controller or deputy
  2. Understanding and working to drawings and bills of material
  3. Identifying components, placing and hand soldering
  4. Operating AA equipment as per business requirements
  5. Ensuring all tasks are carried out in accordance with the QMS and ISO 9001 or ISO13485 as appropriate
  6. Meeting production standards of quality and quantity
  7. Carry out all tasks in compliance with Company health and safety Procedures
  8. Ensuring good housekeeping is maintained in work area
  9. Undertaking any task outside your normal duties that may be reasonably requested

SKILLS REQUIREMENT

  1.  Flexible and willing team member
  2. Good manual dexterity
  3. Ability to pay close attention to detail
  4. Ability to read and understand drawings /documentation

Duties may change from time to time at the discretion of the Management.
