We have an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeping Cleaner within the Housekeeping department to join the growing team.

The InterContinental London O2 is a new luxury hotel in the historic Royal Greenwich located on the vibrant Greenwich Peninsula.The hotel exposes breath-taking views of the river Thames and Canary Wharf and features 453 guestrooms and suites, luxury spa with indoor pool, destination restaurants called Peninsula and bars - including an all-day dining restaurant, Tea Salon and glamorous Sky Bar called Eighteen with munificent 360 degree views of the City of London.

InterContinental O2 has a dedicated conference centre with an impressive 3,100sqm pillar-free ballroom, one of the largest in Europe.

As a key member of the hotels Housekeeping team, the Housekeeping cleaner is responsible for cleaning and maintaining high standards in all public and back of house areas on a day to day basis.

This role has a deep understanding and a passion for a five star approach to service delivery, hotel cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Housekeeping Cleaner:
•Cleans and maintains daily assigned areas according to set standards and procedures and daily work schedule
•Maintains a thorough knowledge of the hotel, public areas, rest rooms and surrounds layout in order to assist guests
•Maintains equipment in proper state of cleanliness and repair as per standard
•Reports and submits lost, damages and found articles and any unusual behaviours to superior immediately
•Complies with hotel’s health, safety and hygiene policy and adheres conduct, personal grooming and hygiene standards
