This group hotel with operations across the North West region are recruiting for a hands on Head Chef to join their team.
The hotel has over 50 + bedrooms with a 100 restaurant as well as various Conference and Events spaces with the largest suite for over 150 guests with a focus on fresh food and being able to ensure a consistency to ensure the quality required.
Working with and as part of the management it is important that you take an integral part and ownership of the kitchen and deliver as required as well to manage all back of house areas including kitchen hygiene,food safety standards and ensure a 5 star rating when inspected.
As such you will have the skills and ability to work with the hotel management and teams to create and develop and influence the direction of the food within the hotel.
The role is a hands on position,you will be working with the kitchen brigade and to assist,support and offer ongoing training and development to each member of the team.
Involvement in all aspects of the kitchen which will include dealing with suppliers and ensuring you are getting the best produce,also working to achieve the agreed targets which includes Food GP,wage costs and the general hygiene and legal areas of the kitchen.
Reporting direct to the General Manager it is a role ready made for an individual looking for a new challenge and to be able to drive and develop the food offering.
