Customer Services and Operations Manager- Cardiff

Our client is looking for an experienced Customer Services and Operations Manager to join a small, dynamic team in their Cardiff headquarters. The candidate must evidence exceptional organisational skills, experience managing a team; and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth organisation.

Requirements:

*Proven track record with extensive experience within a managerial customer service and/or operations position;
*Understanding of operational systems and procedures within a retail/wholesale organisation;
*Working knowledge of global shipping terms and procedures;
*Exceptional organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks;
*Ability to work under own initiative and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
*Excellent interpersonal skills and effective management style;
*Knowledge of HR policies and procedures;
*Enthusiastic work ethic and commitment to support business growth.

Duties:

*Manage and increase effectiveness of the customer services and operational procedures;
*Improving customer experience across a variety of ecommerce platforms;
*Identifying customer service enquiries on all social media platforms and taking necessary action;
*Maximise day-to-day operational efficiency and systems with short-term and long-term operational effectiveness strategies;
*Responsible for global logistics including, imports/exports, international customs documentation, and cost minimising strategies;
*Maintain and enhance the organisation's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Other details:

Salary: GBP 25k-GBP 35k + bonus (dependent on experience)

Hours: 8:30am-5pm (37.5hrs/week)

Location: Cardiff, CF11 8EQ
