With a 60-cover restaurant, brand new bar and 48-cover-heated-lit- outdoor terrace, 2017 promises to The Table Cafe's most exciting yet.
We're looking for a Waiter/Waitress with a proven track record at fast-casual-dining level and an excellent understanding of food and wine service, placing an emphasis on delivering a friendly yet professional guest experience. This is a unique opportunity to learn about running a successful, independent restaurant from the inside-out.
A high standard of service is of paramount importance and a great personality.

Check the bookings and assuring we have an accurate table plan for each shift with seating allocated to every group coming in
Running a section in the restaurant and giving the customers at The Table Cafe an excellent dining experience
Liaise with the chefs throughout the day regarding any specials that we are selling and focussing on up selling to our customers
Ensure that the restaurant is fully prepared for each shift. The correct mis en place is ready for breakfast and lunch service.
Complete duties as and when required along with your other team members. For example - polishing of cutlery and glassware, cleaning the toilets at the end of the day, topping up the sauces and ensuring that the restaurant is ready for the following day
Ensuring that the daily cleaning schedule is being completed daily
Maintaining a positive attitude whilst on shift at all times. Including communication with other team members and guests in the restaurant, time keeping and personal presentation
Highlighting any problems as they arise to your restaurant manager
Providing us with a minimum of 2 weeks' notice of any specific dates that you may need off
Attend any training sessions held at the restaurant
Be available for work at the weekends and evenings when needed
Follow The Table steps of service when looking after guests in the restaurant

Salary: £8.00 /hour plus service charge distribution
