ROC College provides 1:1 post 16 education and enabling support to young people and adults with additional needs. The college is community based and this role will require travel within the community to support and educate within different environments which include work placements, voluntary and Wellbeing sectors. The college supports students to develop their independence, employ-ability and functional skills through a holistic approach. You will need to be a motivated person who has previous experience of working with complex and challenging behaviour, preferably with some sort of educational background or a willingness to undergo training in delivering education. The role will require you to manage and lead a number of Support Workers and enabling & education packages. Due to the nature of this role a car driver is essential. This post is for 20 hours per week.

What we need from you

You need compassion, integrity and to treat people with dignity and respect. You need to be reliable because people are depending on you, be able to travel between locations and work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and overnight as needed. You also need to be a great communicator, both verbally and in writing and have basic IT and numerical skills.
