Contract Type
Spare just one hour to hold a collection tin at your local high street or supermarket so that the general public can donate money to St Clare Hospice.

Why we need you:

It costs over £4 million each year to provide our vital services (including clinical and support services) and with limited NHS funding we need to fundraise for most of this. YOU could assist us in reaching that target, so that we can continue being there for local families facing one of the most difficult journeys in life.

What you will be doing:

We ask you to spare just one hour to represent St Clare Hospice and hold one of our collection tins either on a local high street or at a local supermarket so that the general public can donate money to the Hospice.

Collecting on our local high streets, at local supermarkets and in our community is a fantastic way to raise our profile in the community as well as raise funds for our services. We desperately need more volunteers to help us with this and we only ask that you help for a minimum of one hour.

When we need you:

26 October: Great Dunmow
27 – 28 October: Harlow Town
23 November: Saffron Walden
24 – 25 November: Bishops Stortford
24 – 25 November: Harlow Garden Centre
15: December: Epping

Support you will be given:

You will be given training and information about St Clare Hospice in case you are asked any questions. You will be given a collecting tin and a branded high-viz jacket so that the public will know what you are doing and that you are representing St Clare Hospice. There will be a lead collector on the day to support you.

Benefits you can expect:

You will be part of an enthusiastic team generating a significant amount of income for the charity so we can continue our vital work.
