Are you an experience QSHE professional looking to secure a permanent job in Bristol?

My client is a large Maintenance Contractor, with a strong presence in the Social Housing sector.

They have an immediate requirement for a QSHE Co-ordinator to ensure ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems are retained, maintained, developed and improved.

Responsibilities:

* Ensure QMS/EMS are up to date and correct information is filed, liaising with QSHE Business admin apprentice to assist.
* Carry out system audits, with QSHE Manager, and ensure all non-compliance is completed in an effective and timely manner.
* To develop the systems with QSHE Manager and improve upon them while ensuring they are workable within operations.
* Train out any amendments to operational teams.
* Carry out H&S/Quality/Environmental site audits at all company locations and report back to individual Managers and QSHE Manager.
* Under QSHE Managers guidance suggest improvements/provide guidance/implement changes and follow through to ensure they are being adhered to following audits.
* To ensure each site is aware of office responsibility both there and on site for each employee (fire/office RA's etc).
* Develop and produce relevant COSHH sheets, liaising with the operational team for information on materials used. Working with QSHE Apprentice to produce.
* Develop TBT annual schedules and sheets, to be simple to follow and train out, while covering all aspects of compliance.
* Control the QSHE subcontractor approval process - support subcontractors during the completion of SAQs and supporting documentation. Liaison with Accounts team.
* Maintain the Approved Sub-Contractors database and communicate to branch locations
* Carry out internal Document Control activity, prepare system forms and documents in line with Management System requirements and formats. Publish controlled documents for distribution on a monthly basis.
* Administer company registration and accreditation databases
* Carry out checks on statutory websites (HSE, Environment Agency, and Companies House)

Requirements:

* Demonstrate a good understanding of Quality and Environmental systems
* Ensure the Business Management system is fully adhered to, and ISO registration is maintained
* Continuously look and plan ways to maximise QMS and EMS processes and systems utilisation within the business.
* Review and document performance weekly and provide a monthly report on the overall performance of QMS/EMS and H&S.
* Develop and share best practice with other co-ordinators and managers as part of the team to enhance performance and customer service
* Develop and maintain productive relationships with Clients/Customers/Colleagues
* ISO 9001 and 14001 internal auditor certifications
* Ability to carry out internal audits independently and under supervision
* NEBOSH certificate
* SMSTS or other construction certification desirable
* Work with the QSHE Manager on maintaining and developing systems, ability to suggest ideas and take direction
