Deputy Team Leader
Kingspan Insulation has an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Team Leader to join the team based in Basildon. You will be on a full time permanent contract, with a highly competitive salary of Circa £25,000 per annum.

The Deputy Team Leader will be responsible for supporting the Team Leader in the day-to-day running of the production lines from raw materials in to finished product out and fulfil this role in the Team Leader’s absence.
You will ensure the production line is operating at the required output and uptime and making products at the correct quality and cost. You will be able to identify and rectify poor quality and ensure that key quality and manufacturing targets are met and recorded accurately.
As our Deputy Team Leader you will be responsible for the health and safety of yourself and others, and the continuous improvement of your own and your team’s performance. You will ensure the right level of resources are available to optimise performance, identify poor performance/unacceptable behaviour and bring it to the attention of the team member concerned. Monitoring and managing staff motivation, staffing levels and identifying training requirements will be a key objective.
To become our Deputy Team Leader you will be adaptable, flexible and be prepared to work in a dynamic ever-changing job role. The role can be demanding and once trained you must be able to work on your own initiative with minimum supervision. If you have previous experience working in a factory/manufacturing process environment, have an understanding of continuous improvement tools and techniques, experience of managing a team and problem solving and an understanding of health and safety and OHSAS 18001, we look forward to hearing from you.
