Quarter is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our hotel team as Night Porter at the Berkeley Square Hotel - working 27 hours per week (three 9 hour shifts - Friday - Sunday inclusive).

Details of the role:

•Based at our flagship hotel - The Berkeley Square Hotel.
•Friday - Sunday nights - 9 hours per night
•Shifts start at 10pm and end at 7am
•Weekday shifts paid at £8.00 per hour, weekend shifts paid at £8.30 per hour
•Any shifts over your contracted hours are paid at £9.50 per hour
•An immediate start would be preferred

Who do we need?

You will need to have a good understanding of English. We are looking for an individual with a can-do attitude and customer service experience who can remain calm under pressure and can provide our guests with the 'home from home' welcoming service that we are known for. Due to the nature of the role, flexibilty and the ability to react at late notice would be helpful.

Key responsibilities:

•Security of the hotel overnight
•Providing a first point of contact for our guests - responding to any needs they may have
•Checking in and out guests
•Taking payments from our guests and looking after all cash over your shift
•Selling rooms
•Problem solving - knowing when to escalate to management and how to communicate solutions to guests effectively.

This position will involve working on your own, so you will need good time management and the ability to make decisions.
