ASA Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Payroll Officer to work in our friendly Edinburgh city centre office. This is a permanent full time position.

As part of the finance team you will ensure that our weekly payroll for temporary workers is processed accurately and on time. You will also be required to assist in ensuring that all invoices relating to temporary assignments are despatched to ensure payment is received.

Your main duties will include:

* Processing tax forms, amending tax codes and employee details
* Administering earnings arrestment's, DEAs and DEOs
* Processing pay and checking exceptions
* Dealing with statutory payments as required
* Processing RTI full payment summaries
* Producing relevant internal reports within agreed deadlines

If you are self-motivated, with great organisation skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage a challenging workload then this could be the perfect match for you.

While full training and support will be given it is essential that you have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. You should be confident communicating to all levels, internally and externally, maintaining a professional attitude at all times.

This role will suit someone with previous experience within a payroll function or someone interested in developing a career within payroll.
