Learning & Development Business Partner

Are you an experienced Learning and Development Advisor, Learning and Development Manager or Learning and Development Business Partner looking for your next big role at a well renowned, marketing leading company? Then we want to hear from you!

Our client is one of most reputable high end contract catering and hospitality companies in the UK, with a reputation for quality, great service and being a fantastic place to work.

They're looking for an ambitious Learning and Development professional looking to take the next step in their career as a Learning and Development Business Partner.

This role will cover all aspects of Learning and Development (delivery, consultancy, advice, training development) and as such, applicants must have experience in all areas of the L&D function.

This is not a compliance training vacancy. This role will focus on customer service via excellent team engagement.

*This is a field based role with national coverage. Your clusters will primarily be based in the South West, North West, Yorkshire and London. Flexibility to travel will be essential and you will be required to accommodate occasional overnight stays throughout the UK.

Learning & Development Business Partner- Job Summary

To be responsible for developing and implementing key Learning initiatives for the personal and professional development of colleagues and to enhance the performance of the business.

To support the Head of Learning & Development in planning and developing strategic projects.

Learning & Development Business Partner- Key Tasks & Responsibilities

*Responsible for identifying development & training needs for both our clients' teams and individuals.
*Providing creative, innovative, bespoke and relevant learning solutions to develop knowledge, behaviour, soft skills and attitudes.
*Creation and implementation of learning and development plans for key populations.
*Facilitation and delivery of learning interventions as needed
*Responsible for evaluation of cost-effective learning interventions to support current and future business strategy.
*Responsible for promoting our client as Preferred Employer through supporting, coaching, mentoring and training teams to engage colleagues and develop leadership at all levels, through personal and professional development.
*Support the Head of Learning & Development to develop strategic learning plans
*Working with senior staff to discuss talent retention and training
*Guide and support the creation of a high quality performance service leadership culture
*Support the delivery of Talent Management and Succession Planning activity to the business
*Contribute to the strategic direction of our client by leading and participating on cross-functional project work and policy development.
*Contribute to the sales tender process.
*Communicating effectively with staff at all levels, from junior management to Director level


Learning & Development Business Partner- The Ideal Candidate

*CIPD Qualified (desirable but not essential) and/or Certificate in Training Practice
*Relevant experience gained in an Learning & Development role
*Flexibility to travel with occasional overnight stays.
*Experience in the design & delivery of experiential training materials
*Delivered L&D solutions from start to finish
*Experience of working within a retail or hospitality environment is desirable
*Proven track
record of being able to communicate with staff at all levels, from junior Managers to Director level
*Able to get inside a company culture and drive core company values through engagement
*Be confident in delivering content in engaging style
*To be a naturally confident communicator able to engage across all levels of a business.
*Written and spoken communication skills that allow you to inform and advise others clearly
