We’re looking for a warm, enthusiastic, patient and reliable live-in au pair! We have three children (girl, boy, girl) aged 4,6 and 9, who are all at school or nursery. They are all open, friendly children who have loved having our first au pair over the last 18 months. We are a happy and welcoming family - our current au pair is very happy to talk to applicants.

Main duties include:
Helping with the children - playing, homework, bath time, taking to activities
School drop off/pick up
Simple cooking for the children
Helping keep the house tidy (but we have a great cleaner who also does all the ironing)
Helping with laundry

Both parents work part time, so generally you’ll be sharing the tasks with us, although there will be one afternoon you’ll look after the children on your own. You’ll have time off between 9/9.30 - 2.30 every day.

We live in the pretty Poet’s Corner area of Acton in West London, really well connected and with lots of stuff on our doorstep. There is a train station at the end of the road! You can be in the centre of London in about half an hour. Your room is huge with its own shower room, and is at the top of the house with only a spare room on the same floor - so you have proper space to yourself! It also has an amazing view of London.

Our youngest daughter is loads of fun, very affectionate. Our son is curious and full of energy - very sporty, also really loving. Our eldest daughter is gentle and sensitive, and loves being at home with her family. She’s just been diagnosed with mild Autism Spectrum Disorder - her behaviour is not challenging, she just struggles understanding some social situations and making friends. Again, our current au pair is happy to talk about this.

We’d like 30 hours a week, plus 2 nights babysitting. We will pay £100-£130 a week depending on experience. We would appreciate some flexibility during school holidays over working extra (paid) hours, and we will be as flexible with you as possible.

Excellent English is essential, as is some childcare experience and relevant visa if necessary. Non smokers only. Driving an advantage but not essential.
