Part-Time Guest Service Assistant – Holiday Inn Express Cardiff Bay
Holiday Inn Express Cardiff Bay has an excellent opportunity for a Part-Time Guest Service Assistant to join our dedicated and dynamic team working shifts as required, including weekends. Located just a 15-20 minute walk from Cardiff City Centre, the hotel has 87 bedrooms and 2 fully equipped meeting rooms, along with a bar and lounge area. As a Guest Services Assistant, you will ideally have experience of working within a similar role in a highly focused customer service environment. You should be IT literate and have excellent English language skills, both verbal and written. Full training within the role will be provided. Reporting to the Duty Manager / General Manager, the responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
•Checking in / checking out guests.
•Dealing with any guest enquiries or issues, providing an excellent level of customer service at all times.
•Serving drinks at the hotel bar.
•Preparing and serving dinner.
•Conducting regular security walks of the premises.
•Printing daily reports, reconciling cash and card transactions on a daily basis.
•Replying to emails.
•Recycling and general cleaning.
•Ad-Hoc duties as and when required.
