The Role

Following an internal promotion, we are looking for a Deputy Manager to join the management team at the Dickens Inn, at St Katherine's Docks. Focusing on managing our Pizza Restaurant and Events space. This is a great opportunity if you are an experienced, service focused, volume savvy Deputy or Assistant Bar Manager with an inspirational leadership style and a credible management presence to contribute to the success of the business and make a difference.

You'll be managing a large team of up to 20 staff (including team leaders), setting objectives, delegating tasks and following up, providing leadership and coaching to develop their skills, encouraging them to achieve the highest standards every day and creating a genuinely team-orientated and customer focused environment.

You'll also have experience of growing sales revenue, controlling costs and helping improve the profitability of the operation, having an understanding of profit and loss as well as ensuring H&S and legal compliance and set brand operating procedures are consistently followed to achieve operational excellence.

The Details

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous proven experience supporting the management at a large branded bar or similar licensed environment.

- Motivating, leading and developing a new team in a high volume restaurant.

- Knowledgeable of the standards and structured processes required working within brand standards having good audit or mystery shopper results to show for it.

- Great at driving sales and controlling costs, empowering your team to do the same, supporting P&L performance across a £multi-million operation.
