We are looking for an Expert by Experience Volunteer Trainer to join our team.

As an Expert by Experience Trainer (EBE) you will work collaboratively with the Volunteer Officer, Volunteering Manager, Learning and Development Team and service based accommodation, co-designing and co-delivering of training regarding lived experience, other training when required and incentives to raise the profile of Look Ahead.

The role will be based on an equal partnership between customers or persons with lived experience and the EBE Training Team. It is important that you are reliable and understand that becoming an EBE trainer is a commitment.

Location/ Time:

Look Ahead Head Office - Westminster / Adhoc, Training is delivered monthly

Key Responsibilities:
-Assist with co developing, co designing and writing relevant EBE training
-Deliver training and presentations to Look Ahead Support staff, outside organisations and Look Ahead customers
-Attend training team meetings and one to one supervision with the EBE Training Team Manger
-Attend Train the Trainer and Training Development workshops
-Prepare training rooms prior to delivering training
-Ensure training content and handouts are relevant and up to date

-Supportive working environment, regular support and supervision, monthly supervision
-Personal Development and Skills Support to assist in the process of becoming an EBE trainer
-Lunch and travel expenses reimbursed (up to a set amount)

-Helping staff to understand the needs of customers
-Develop training experience
-Reference can be provided (if you volunteer for 6 months)
